“In general, there is a gradual growth trend in the aviation cargo segment,” the airport representatives note.

The most popular flight routes from Riga in August were Manchester, Budapest and Malaga, but the average flight occupancy increased to 87%.

It has already been reported that in 2023 Riga Airport served a total of 6.631 million passengers, which is 23.2% more than the year before, when 5.381 million passengers were served, but 15% less than in 2019, when 7.798 million were served at the airport passenger.
