Revenue fell most seriously in the III and IV quarters due to the tightening of restrictions in the regions – the industry lost 8.9 and 9.2 billion rubles. respectively. Losses in the first half of the year reached 7.8 billion rubles. The industry as a whole missed about 25.9 billion rubles, Silina said.
The restrictive measures have led to a drop in demand for fitness services by 65% since the beginning of the year, the head of the National Fitness Society said earlier. The industry turned out to be “completely unprepared for such tests,” the expert emphasized.
