The number of victims of a gas explosion in an apartment of a nine-story residential building in Noginsk outside Moscow has grown to 15, two are in serious condition. The vice-governor of the Moscow region Yevgeny Khromushin told reporters about it.
“Only 15 people were injured, two were severe, all in hospitals … At the moment, two bodies of the dead have been found, five people do not get in touch, we do not know their status,” said Mr. Khromushin (quoted by TASS).
The gas explosion took place today, September 8, at 6:55 am in Noginsk, on June 28 street, building 9. According to preliminary data, five apartments were damaged. The prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region organized an inspection, the ICR opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet security requirements.
