Lebanon’s official agency (ANI) announced on Monday September 23 that Lebanese citizens have received messages on their land lines from Israel asking them to leave their places, the office of The Minister of Information in Beirut referring to AFP has received such a warning.
The messages came as the Israeli army launched a massive campaign of airstrikes on Hezbollah strongholds and for the first time encouraged the Lebanese to “Get off target” of the third in the south of the country.

“Residents in Beirut and several areas have received messages on the landline telephone network, the source of which is the enemy of Israel, asking them to quickly leave the places where they are.”ANI reference.

The office of the Minister of Information Ziad Makari, located in Beirut in the area where there are many government offices, told AFP that it had received such a call.
“The landing line rang (…) when the minister’s assistant answered, he heard a recorded message asking (workers) to leave the building or it would end up under bombardment”cite this source.
Asked by AFP, Imad Kreidieh, director of the Ogero state operator, confirmed that “Terrestrial network system in Lebanon intercepts all communications from Israel”. But Israel “bypass communication systems by using a friendly country code”he added.

Lebanon and Israel are in a state of war and communications with this country are prohibited. The Israeli army announced on Monday that its attacks against the Iranian-backed Hezbollah would “Continue in the near future” and these shall be “More important and more precise”.
