The official opening of the Junior World Championships took place

The opening ceremony of the World Junior Taekwondo Championship was held in Chuncheon (Korea).

Idman.biz reports that World Taekwondo president Chung-Won Chou addressed the audience with his opening speech.

He noted that the world championship will set a record for the number of countries and participants. 960 athletes from 127 countries will take part in the competition.

It should be noted that there are 18 athletes in the Azerbaijan national team.
