Pathepur:
The 15- and 16-year-old sisters from Pathepur village in Usenganj district of Uttar Pradesh went to see the festival held next door at Senpur.
After watching the festival, they were returning home at night. Then they were followed by a group of 8 people. When they reached a no-man’s land, the gang suddenly threatened and abducted the sister-in-law. The gang took the two to a hidden place and gang-raped them.
One by one they raped the sisters. The 2 people who were trapped by the lustful and cruel gang shouted, “Leave us alone.” But the gang did not let them go. The sisters shouted for help.
Hearing this, people from the neighboring village came running there. On seeing the villagers, the gang tried to escape from there. However, the public caught 6 of them and informed the police. Police rushed there and arrested 6 people. The 6 arrested are aged between 22 and 26 years. Police are looking for their 2 absconding friends.
Both the elder sister and the younger sister suffered severely due to gang rape. They were immediately admitted to the government hospital there. Doctors said their condition is critical. They are being given intensive care.
The investigation conducted by the police revealed that the gang involved in the sexual assault case had violated the sisters who had gone to see the festival before the incident and took away their cell phones. Only after that they continue to follow and stage this lust. The Superintendent of Police personally visited the incident and conducted an investigation.
