The Olympic coach reveals the details of the Basra camp and the most prominent professionals present

Today, Thursday, our Olympic team coach, Radhi Shenaishil, revealed the details of the training camp that is hoped to be held in Basra Governorate and the professionals joining the team.

Shenaishal told the (INA): “The Olympic team will enter a training camp in Basra Governorate for the period from 16 to 27 March,” noting, “The goal of the camp is to continue the upward trend of the Olympic team and try out a larger number of players.”
He stated, “The Federation is holding discussions to hold two matches with the Togolese national team in Basra, on March 22 and 26, within the training camp,” pointing out, “The camp will include professionals Ali Al-Moussawi, Bland Hassan, and the professional in Iran, Montazer Muhammad.”
He pointed out that he “informed the professional players to approach their clubs regarding their presence in the Asian Finals Championship in Qatar,” explaining, “Until this moment, the presence of players Ali Al-Moussawi, Bland Hassan, and Youssef Al-Imam in the finals has been confirmed, and we are awaiting the rest of the approvals from the clubs.”
Shenaishal continued, “I was surprised that Hussein Lawandi could not be present with the doctor’s statement,” adding, “The player’s father contacted us and confirmed that the player is recovering and will be with the national team. The player will be invited to the training camp in order to be close to the national team.”
Shenaishil confirmed, “He informed the national team coach, Jesus Casas, during the last meeting that all the players are ready for the national team’s mission in its two matches with the Philippines in the World Cup qualifiers.”
