OnePlus 10 Pro has not yet been launched in an orderly fashion outside of China, but the network is already publishing reports of another model called the OnePlus 10R, which is expected to be released during the second quarter of 2022 – that is, in the coming months. While the design of the device will remain quite similar to the original model, a number of significant changes in specifications are expected that may make it more competitive.

The OnePlus 10R’s chipset will reportedly be MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100, with 8 or 12GB of working memory, and up to 256GB of file storage. The display will be a 6.7-inch AMOLED, with a 16-megapixel selfie camera drilled in the center. On the back, the device will come with a Sony main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, along with a wide lens (8 megapixels) and a macro sensor.

It is also said that the OnePlus 10R in two editions, the first with a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and a charge of up to 80 watts, while the second with a battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh but with a charge of up to 150 watts. The operating system will of course be Android 12, with the OxygenOS 12 interface that when remembered will not be replaced in the foreseeable future.

OnePlus is expected to hold an event on March 31 to mark the global launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro. It is likely that the company will not present the OnePlus 10R there, but at another event that will take place a few weeks later.
