Islamabad: The departure of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only solution to all the country’s problems, says Jamaat-e-Islami leader Sirajul Haq. He was addressing a conference in Lahore on preparations for the local body elections. Sirajul Haq, who referred to the agreement between the International Monetary Fund and Pakistan, also mocked Imran Khan as an international beggar during the conference. He later called for fresh elections in the country.

Sirajul Haq also criticized the Tehreek-e-Insaf party, led by Imran Khan, for raising fuel prices. Pakistan’s national media reported that Sirajul Haq had said that Imran Khan and Pakistan could not work together. Sirajul Haq criticized the government of Imran Khan, who described himself as the champion of the economy, as a complete failure and only put old parts into the new machine. The country is currently facing a severe financial crisis.
