During this tour, the ONMT will present its strategic orientations and upcoming actions for each region to support operators in their development. This direct dialogue will also make it possible to collect the needs and proposals of professionals in order to best adapt the initiatives to local realities.
This proactive approach demonstrates the Office’s commitment to working hand in hand with regional stakeholders to stimulate sustainable and inclusive growth of tourism in Morocco.
This tour will start this Friday, January 10, 2025 with the first region, Marrakech, a strategic destination for tourism, and will continue immediately in all regions of the country, one after the other.
During these meetings, the strategic plan for the sector, marketing and commercial measures in priority markets will be discussed in particular to ensure optimal and sustainable growth for the twelve regions, each according to the specificities and potential that it offers.
On the program, meetings with professionals in the sector, in particular hoteliers, travel agencies, transporters, restaurateurs and representatives of regional tourism councils (CRT).
These exchanges will make it possible to take stock of local needs, identify opportunities and challenges specific to each region, and collect concrete proposals to stimulate tourism growth.
This tour illustrates the ONMT’s desire to position the regions as major pillars of the Moroccan tourism offer.
