September begins and with it not only begins the opening of the school and political year. It will also be the opening, next week, of the judicial course. The visit will be one of the main visits of the Kings this week.

On Wednesday, September 6, King Felipe VI will receive the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, at the Zarzuela Palace -at 10:30 a.m.- on the occasion of the delivery of the annual report of the prosecution. One day later, the monarch will go to the Palace of Justice in Madrid to begin the act of opening the judicial year.

This event will begin at 12:00 noon. An hour earlier, also in Madrid, Queen Letizia will attend the delivery of the ‘Unicef ​​Spain Awards’ at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).

The kings will end the week in Navarra

To conclude the week, on Friday, September 8, the kings and queens will go to Pamplona for the celebration of the VI centenary of the privilege of the Union. The event, which will be held in the cathedral and town hall of Pamplona, ​​is intended to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the constitution of Pamplona as a city after the merger of the medieval towns of San Cernin, San Nicolás and Navarrería into a single entity.
