The Operations Department was inaugurated at the Eye Hospital in Tripoli, in the presence of Prime Minister Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba and his deputy, Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jnah, after supervision and follow-up of the implementation of the project by the Projects Department of the Ministry of Health.
The Director of Projects Department, Sami Al-Shaafi, said that the implementation of this project comes as a continuation of the Ministry’s plan to support the public health sector, which was launched in 2019, pointing to the opening of four operating rooms out of eight in the Eye Hospital, and the rest of the rooms will be maintained and modernized within the second phase of the project implementation.
Al-Shaafi confirmed that operations departments will be opened with equipment similar to the ophthalmology department in the Eye Hospital in Tripoli, in both the Abu Salim Accidents Hospital and the Preventive Medicine Hospital in Maitika, after completing the installation of central air-conditioning systems.
