The Leninsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced a man to 13 years in prison, who, according to the investigation, organized an attack on collectors 25 years ago, one of them then died.
The prosecution was represented by the military prosecutor’s office. The fact is that one of the perpetrators of the attack was an employee of one of the military units. He was convicted earlier.
According to the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office, the organizer of the attack was hiding from the investigation for many years, he lived with forged documents, often changed addresses and appearance. However, the man was detained.
He was tried for robbery, which resulted in an attack on a cash collection vehicle belonging to a bank. At that time, 224 million non-denominated rubles became the spoils of the attackers.
