«The other darkness in the room» is a documentary written and directed by Ciro Formisano who goes back behind the camera after The Exodus (winner of the Golden Globe). Through interviews with the managers of Italian cinemas and anecdotes related to the world of celebrities, the documentary brings back images and films capable of evoking the very essence of the cinematographic tradition at its last passage, which makes films accessible to the general public. A journey characterized by the memories of 14 of the most historic cinemas in our country and what binds them to actors, actresses, directors, but also made up of people who feel the need to share with the world that “darkness” of which they are victims . Among the artists interviewed in the documentary: Carlo Verdone, Enrico Vanzina, Claudio Bisio, Donatella Finocchiaro, Massimo Catini Parrini, Bianca Nappi. Among the exhibitors: Fabio Amadei (Cinema Farnese in Rome), Antonio Sancassani (Cinema Mexico in Milan), Massimiliano Giometti (Cinema Giometti in Riccione), Matteo Pavesi (Cineteca di Milano), Mimmo Calopreste (New Cinema Aquila in Rome).
