A 70-year-old man died in a Kazan hospital after a gas explosion occurred in his apartment in Naberezhnye Chelny. RBC was informed about this in the press service of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan.
The department said that his death occurred on the night of November 1. After the fire, the 1951 man was taken to the hospital with burns, he was in serious condition, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health added.
The press service of the republican clinical hospital in Kazan told TASS that the man had burns of 85% of his body and other injuries.

A gas explosion in a five-story building in Naberezhnye Chelny occurred on October 25. As a result of the incident, five people were hospitalized, later one girl died. Among the victims were also two minors – a 17-year-old boy and his 11-year-old brother.
