The identity of the Azerbaijani whose watch worth 1.2 million euros was stolen in the Spanish resort city of Ibiza has been confirmed. According to the information obtained by the “Azerbaycansaati.tv” website from the Ibiza police, the robbed person is Rashad Abdullayev, born in 1994. He is the son of Rovnag Abdullayev, president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

The site has also published a photocopy of the report drawn up by the Ibiza police regarding the incident.

It turns out that Rashad Abdullayev had fun in Ibiza with his friends Azer Askerov (son of the former head of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Arif Askerov) and Jeyhun Mahmudzade. On the day of the robbery, they left the Nobu Hotel where they were staying with the girls and took a taxi. The friends stopped at a restaurant called “Hard Rock” and later decided to go for a walk with the girls. At that time, they met local hooligans. The hooligans demanded the expensive watch from Rashad Abdullayev. The friends realized that they could not resist and complied with the request out of fear.
