Thiruvananthapuram: It is not allowed to admit all the seats in the theaters. The decision was taken at the Kovid review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. Admission will be in half seats. The theater owners wanted access to all the seats. The owners say gaining access to half the seats will result in financial loss.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Kovid directed at the review meeting that steps should be taken to complete the second dose vaccination as soon as possible. Information on those who have expired to get the second dose of vaccine should be collected at the local government level. Arrangements should be made to identify such persons and vaccinate them. The district collectors and the ministers in charge of the district should call the representatives of the local bodies and convince them of this. Ward level committees and other departments should take necessary steps to ensure that the vaccination is completed.

The meeting decided that CFLTC and CSLTC should be retained only if necessary. Particular attention should be paid to the occurrence of Kovid plague in schools. The Chief Minister also directed the meeting to expedite the disbursement of Kovid funds.
