The Platform for People Affected by the Mortgage (PAH) of Barcelona reported this Friday that a resident of Sants-Montjuïc, José, 72 years oldis pending a eviction scheduled for the next day 14, urged by a Spanish investment fund, after being deceived by a third party.
At a press conference, the PAH criticized that the alternative offered to José from the Barcelona social services and the housing office is go to a pension or stay on the street. José lives in the neighborhood of La Marina, near the Free Zone, and is in a situation of credited vulnerabilitydespite the fact that he originally owned the apartment.
