MADRID, 16 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Palestinian Red Crescent has warned this Thursday that the Israeli Army has “besieged” the Al Ahli hospital with tanks, in the north of the Gaza Strip, where a month ago the Gazan authorities denounced an Israeli bombing of the facilities that It resulted in at least 500 deaths.
“Israeli military tanks are besieging the Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza and violent attacks are taking place. Palestinian Red Crescent teams cannot move or reach the wounded,” the organization said on the social network X.
Israel attributed the attack on the Al Ahli Hospital on October 17 to a failed missile launched by Islamic Jihas, a terrorist organization that supported the offensive of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) against Israel on October 7.
For their part, authorities in the Gaza Strip claimed that Israel was behind the attack, as it was preceded by the bombardment of two Israeli projectiles and a warning that the center should be evacuated.
The authorities of the Palestinian enclave have indicated that 11,500 Palestinians have died as a result of the Israeli offensive launched by the Army after the Hamas attacks, which left nearly 1,200 dead and almost 240 kidnapped.
