The Government of Pampa, through the Undersecretariat of Industry, Commerce and SMEs of the Ministry of Production, together with the I Comex Agency, held a meeting with exporting companies of Pampa to report on the specific financial lines for the sector.
The Minister of Production, Fernanda González, led the information meeting, as she did with the rest of the production sectors of the Province.
González underlined that one of the strategic sectors targeted by the 2025 Budget “has to do with value generation and exports”.
For his part, the president of the I Comex Agency, Sebastián Lastiri, underlined that “it is important that we can have first-hand information on the lines available in the sector, as well as exchange opinions in this regard” and added that “these are the lines of credit complement the work done in terms of promoting investment and foreign trade, which is why it is good to have an instrument that helps finance part of this process.
In turn, the director of Technical and Financial Assistance, Eugenia Borges, detailed the lines in force: the Investment line has a maximum amount of 2,000 million pesos to be repaid within a maximum period of 15 years to finance infrastructure works and capital goods. This line has a 15 point interest rate subsidy from the provincial government.
For its part, the Working Capital line for exporting companies, with a maximum amount of 300 million pesos, to be repaid in 36 months and a subsidy of 15 points on the interest rate. This line aims to finance the transformation of raw materials, logistics or the execution of processes to complete an export. It is an innovative line, compared to the lines we have traditionally worked with in previous years.
it was highlighted that the traditional Compre Pampeano line has been activated, which finances the purchase of Pampeano products made by companies registered in the Pampeano Product Register, at the Industrial Development Directorate, both for investments and for working capital needs. This line reaches up to 300 million with a duration of 5 years (18 months in the case of working capital) and a subsidy of 15 points on the interest rate. All lines provide a bonus of 5 additional points in the case of projects led by women.
The undersecretary of Industry, Commerce and SMEs, Vanina Fernández, and the president of the Free Zone, Germán Luqui, also participated.

Today, we have the privilege of speaking with Sebastián Lastiri, the president of the I Comex Agency, following a recent meeting focused on enhancing the export capabilities of Pampa’s companies. Thank you for joining us, Sebastián!
Sebastián Lastiri: Thank you for having me! It’s great to be here.
Host: Let’s get straight to it. The meeting, led by Minister of Production Fernanda González, highlighted specific financial lines for exporting companies. What can you tell us about the strategic importance of exporting to the overall economic landscape of Pampa?
Sebastián Lastiri: Absolutely. The provincial government is recognizing the pivotal role of exports in driving economic growth. In the 2025 Budget, exports and value generation are identified as strategic sectors. This focus helps us enhance our competitive edge globally and create job opportunities here at home.
Host: That’s a significant point! Why do you think the government chose to focus on exporters particularly at this juncture?
Sebastián Lastiri: With the challenges presented by global markets, it’s essential for us to support our local exporters. By providing financial instruments and resources specifically tailored for SMEs in the export sector, we ensure they can thrive despite these challenges. This approach is about empowerment and sustainability, ensuring that our businesses can adapt and compete internationally.
Host: You mentioned first-hand information about available lines of credit. Can you elaborate on how these financial resources will practically benefit exporting companies?
Sebastián Lastiri: Certainly! The lines of credit that we discussed are designed to ease the financial burden on exporters. It’s not just about having access to funds; it’s about enabling growth and innovation.
Host: Innovation is key in today’s market. How do you see the role of new technologies in boosting exports among Pampa’s companies?

Sebastián Lastiri: It is crucial. The more we share experiences and insights, the better equipped we are to tackle common challenges. This meeting was just the beginning; we aim to foster a community where exporters can learn from one another and work together to advocate for favorable trade policies.

Sebastián Lastiri: By 2025, we envision a robust export sector that not only contributes significantly to our local economy but also establishes Pampa as a strong player in international markets.
