“Infinita pandemia”, this is the title of the new essay by Alessandro Meluzzi out for Altaforte editions. A title that sounds almost like a denunciation against a society “which is increasingly individualistic, atomized and automated”: from the Covid-19 crisis, Meluzzi’s pen guides the reader into another potentially infinite pandemic, that of the spirit.
The risk, not too far away, feared by the psychiatrist, is that of living in a society made up of a gray limbo where it is impossible even to think of a healthy revolt. What to do then? The writer is clear: to become masters of his own destiny, of his own sovereignty to subvert the “great disorder under the sky”.
