The closed Brazilian holds great titles. It is the second largest biome in the country, behind the Amazon, and also one of the richest savannas in the world.
Even so, it is little visited. Last year, the number of tourists who passed through Jalapão, in Tocantins, was six times less than the visitors to Bonito, in Mato Grosso do Sul, according to state governments.
This region of countless natural beauties is home to destinations such as the Chapada dos Veadeiros in Goiás, the Serras Gerais and the Jalapão in Tocantins, and the Chapada das Mesas in Maranhão.
In July, the reporter Sheet He visited these destinations, which showed waterfalls, rivers, trails and Jurassic landscapes.
An example is the Chapada dos Veadeiros. In the Segredo waterfall, the waterfall is approximately one hundred meters. The dirt road to the place is offset by the scenery and the cold bath.
