This week there is a fundraiser for the Passover campaign of the “Brothers to the Sergeant” organization, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans for the community, that throughout the coming week fans and players of the team will try to collect as much money as possible for food packages for the needy.
The “Brothers to the Sergeant” organization, together with the “Maccabi Foundation”, holds an annual fundraising campaign before Rosh Hashanah and Pesach for all the money goes to food packages. Last Rosh Hashanah, they managed to collect NIS 234,000 in 60 hours, which is the equivalent of 850 food packages that reached needy families, soldiers, and the group’s fans.
Within 12 hours, they had already managed to collect more than NIS 65,000, in order to break the record from Rosh Hashanah and reach more than a quarter of a million NIS and 1,000 food packages.
