On Tuesday evening, a three-member group led by Vinayan entered the Desabhimani office in Mancheri and committed violence. Vinayan contacted Suresh over the phone regarding giving news in the newspaper. The demand was to give the news the way Vinayan said. But when Suresh refused, there was a verbal argument between them. Then Vinayan, who came to the office in Mancheri with two others, had an argument with Suresh again and used to beat him with the keyboard of the computer in the office. The injured Suresh Mancheri has filed a police complaint. At the same time, CPM Mancheri Area Secretary said that action will be taken if party workers are involved in the incident.
