News from Angola – The Kuduro project, run by the Kuduristas Agricultural Cooperative in Angola (COAKA), promoted last weekend, throughout the country, a community cleaning campaign called “GLANTING IN MY BAND!”, and with the aim of encouraging good hygiene practices and environmental sanitation.

The campaign, which brought together more than 300 artists of the kuduro style, throughout the country, aimed at a spirit of conservation, the maintenance of public assets, as well as the care to be taken in environmental hygiene​​​​ inform local communities to avoid diseases. “The kuduristas from the 18 provinces in the country, with rakes, brushes, machetes, wheelbarrows and other cleaning methods, provided an unprecedented moment, which deserved the gratitude of the local communities”, he emphasized the promoter.

According to Chilola de Almeida, president of the Angolan Kuduristas Agricultural Cooperative (COAKA), this is an initiative that should happen again next January.

According to the person responsible, the activity had technical and institutional support from the provincial governments, the Angolan Youth Institute and the Kuduristas Association.
