The Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) announced that automatic indexation of payments from December 1, 2021 awaits three categories of pensioners. The fund will increase the size of payments automatically, reports “Moskovsky Komsomolets” with reference to the PFR experts. Also, the interlocutors of the publication remind that no official decisions on new lump sum payments have yet been made or announced.
Increased payments can be received by pensioners over 80 years old, as well as people with disabilities of the first group. The amount of the allowance will be 12,088 rubles. “More than 4.6 million Russians aged 80 and above live in Russia, of which more than 16 thousand of our compatriots have reached the age of 100 and even above,” said economist Andrei Loboda
Pensioners who are raising minors or children under 23 years of age studying full-time can add 2014 rubles. Also, if a senior citizen can confirm 30 years of work experience in the village, then the increase in pension will be 1,511 rubles.
Earlier, at a meeting on economic issues, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that pensions would increase in the coming years, funds for such indexation were included in the budget.
The Pension Fund also said that in 2022, some categories of citizens will have their pension indexed by 5.8% and its size will average 18,521 rubles.
