The Movement of Pensioners of Euskal Herria mobilizes this Saturday in the Basque capitals against “a few people accumulating more and more wealth at the cost of impoverishing the working class, reducing public services, condemning invisible and unrecognized work of care for women and destroy the planet’s ecosystems and biodiversity.

The five most important demands that this platform demands are: A minimum wage of 1,400 euros in the Basque Country, decent minimum pensions of 1,080 euros, ending the wage and pension gap, a universal public network of social and health care services, and the immediate stoppage of the cuts that have been taking place in the RGI and the RG.

The demonstration in San Sebastián will start this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Alderdi Eder.
