Intel is releasing more models of its Arc graphics cards so people don’t forget about them, although at the moment there are two for laptops, the A530M and A570M. I would also be preparing a Arc A580 for desktops, which would include 3072 shaders, 25% less than the Arc A770, or 15% less than the Arc A750, so it would be more generalist, and lower priced. Now a supposed proof has appeared in Geekbench giving its performance in OpenCL, which cannot be translated to performance in games.
That performance puts it around the power of AMD’s RX 7600, but below the RTX 3060 and around 16% less performance than the Arc A750, so at first it seems to me a possible result, be false or authentic. Considering that the Arc A750 can be found for over $250, if Intel were to sell it for over $200 it would be a super competitive graphics card for that price point.
