The individual who seized people in a pharmacy in the German city of Karlsruhe was arrested, the German authorities announced on Friday evening, according to the website T-online.de.
The perpetrator of the hostage-taking in Germany has been arrested
Agents of the special police forces intervened in the pharmacy and immobilized the aggressor. The two people who were held hostage were released.
No one was injured.
Sources within the German security services had previously stated that the perpetrator of the hostage-taking demanded one million euros.
