The shooter who attempted to kill Donald Trump was clearly visible from the site of the rally where the former president was wounded.
This is evidenced by a video recording released by American TV channels, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
It is believed that the footage was filmed during the rally by one of Trump’s supporters, who was standing close to the politician behind him.
The video clearly shows the suspect walking along the roof and taking up a position where the shooting soon began. However, the Secret Service sniper who was supposed to be protecting Trump only eliminated the attacker after he fired eight shots.
On July 13, Trump survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The politician was shot several times, after which he was taken off stage with a bloody ear and hospitalized. After receiving medical attention, Trump was released from the hospital.
Following the assassination attempt on Trump, his main rival, incumbent US President Joe Biden, dropped out of the race, and the US Democratic Party temporarily suspended its election campaign. Vice President Kamala Harris has taken Biden’s place as the Democratic nominee.
On July 30, Trump’s appearance on stage in Nashville was delayed due to security concerns. It was discovered that two young men had somehow bypassed metal detectors, but they were ultimately found to be harmless.
