The police are looking for the mysterious person who stole the scooter on the Puducherry-Nudahana route.
Rajesh, 34, of Vanuar, Tiruchirampalam Kootrodu Acharambattu, Gandhi Nagar Extension; Deputy Manager of Private Company in Setarapat. He posted his kit for sale through OLX app.
A person who saw this last 17th night contacted Rajeisha through his mobile phone and said that he was Ramesh and that he would see and buy the scooter in person.
On the morning of the next day, 18th, Ramesh came to the gate of the company in a rented car and negotiated the price for the scooter. Rs. Price finalized at 28k.
He said that he should drive the scooter and show it to the nearest mechanic to inquire about the condition of the vehicle. Rajesh took a photo of Ramesh’s Aadhaar card on his mobile phone and gave him the scooter.
Ramesh went with the scooter and did not return. Knowing that he was cheated, Rajesh filed a complaint with the police the day before yesterday.
During the police investigation, it was revealed that the Aadhaar card given by Ramesh, who bought the scooter, was fake. The police are investigating with the CCTV footage of the person who took the scooter.
