Mylapore: A former medical student was arrested for installing a ‘skimmer’ device in an ATM.
There is an Indian Overseas Bank and ATM center on Santhom Highway, Mylapore. This bank suddenly stopped working on the afternoon of the 12th. Following this, the bank officials, while repairing the ATM machines, found a ‘skimmer’ device with a memory card in it and confiscated them.

Subsequently, a complaint was lodged at the Mylapore Crime Branch police station. The police registered a case and conducted intensive investigation. At this stage, they arrested Manohar’s son Anand, 26, from Old Vannarappet. Atm, the mill admitted that it had installed a skimmer device. He is known to be a former medical student.
