The Petroleum Corporation discusses with Brega the provision of fuel needs

On Tuesday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Ben Qaddara, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brega Oil Marketing Company, Fouad Belrahim, in the presence of a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Masoud Suleiman, and the acting Director of the International Marketing Department, Rabih Oraibi.

The corporation’s official page on Facebook reported that the meeting discussed a number of topics related to the company’s activity, most notably the fuel supply process, timelines for supplies, and the challenges facing the Brega Company.

The meeting touched on ongoing projects to increase fuel storage capacity and problems related to ports and unloading docks.

A series of measures were agreed upon to confront these challenges with the aim of stabilizing the fuel supply process, including approval to establish new warehouses within the budget allocated to the company in order to achieve the highest rate of stock adequacy to meet local needs.

The Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors praised the efforts of the Corporation’s Marketing Department and Brega Company officials to overcome difficulties and provide fuel in light of the crisis of closing the oil fields and stopping the Zawiya refinery.
