The Pixies, one of the oldest and most influential rock bands in the world, will perform in Israel this summer, alongside a warm-up show by Jerry Cantrell – lead singer and guitarist of the band “Alice in Chains”. The performance will take place on July 11 at Pavilion 1 Expo in Tel Aviv. In addition, Cantrell will appear the day before at the Barbie Club.
The Pixies have performed in Israel twice before – in 2014 at Bloomfield Stadium, and in 2017 in Caesarea. In 2019, the intention was announced to bring them to Israel for the third time, but the corona plague disrupted the plan. A date for the show is now announced.
Cantrell, the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of “Alice in Chains”, who previously performed in Israel with his band, released a acclaimed solo album this year.
