The poet and lyricist Isaac Soussis has died

The⁣ lyricist Isaac Soussis, who wrote many well-known songs that made some of the biggest⁣ names in the world of ⁢Greek music, has died.

Yiannis Zouganelis announced the news with an emotional post on Facebook.

“Another friend has⁣ left this unholy world. The poet ​Isaac Soussis. Lavrentis Mahairitsas did most of his work, and we did Mavro Markadoros⁣ together. Thank ‌you Isaac”⁣ said Yiannis Zouganelis in⁣ his video.

Isaac Soussis had signed the lyrics to some of Lavrentis Mahairitsa’s biggest songs, such as the Greek version of the song “Pocket Monsters” and even the songs “South”, “Come, my soul”, “A Turk in Paris”, “However “, “Once”, “You⁢ tell me your eyes”, “The old soldier” etc.

“This peaceful spirit was finally joined by those who influenced him and loved him, those⁤ he respected and respected in ‌his‍ heart, philosophers, writers, relatives and friends. He has a lot to share with them. And we will be here⁢ looking for him somewhere in the South…” Isaac Sousi’s relatives noted in a​ post on⁢ the lyricist’s Facebook page.
