In response to Beitar Jerusalem’s request to hold an urgent discussion regarding the police’s demands, today (Sunday) it became clear that the police refuse to back down and insist on the fulfillment of two conditions for the sale of the club: a deposit of 11 million NIS in the confiscation fund of Hogga’s assets in the police, the transfer of all the club’s shares Barak Abramov only in three years even though he is buying the club now.

Because of this, an urgent court hearing is expected to resolve the dispute between Beitar and the police. If the court does not overturn the police decision, the sale of the club to Abramov will not take place and Bitar may be relegated to the First League.

Abramov has already parted ways with Bnei Yehuda and sold it back to Moshe Demayo, and as I recall he signed the girls to purchase the yellow-blacks, but the many bureaucratic issues make it difficult to complete the deal and time is running out for the club.
