Dimple Lampa, Sudeep, Vivek and Nidin arrested in case of gang-rape of young model in Kochi
Kochi: More evidence will be collected in the case of gang-rape of a 19-year-old model in a car on Thursday. When Dimple Lampa’s phone was taken into custody and examined, it was found that the accused had communicated with each other several times. The investigation team also found that all the accused, including Dimple, have definite involvement in the case. The arrested accused were released to the custody of the court police last day.
Dimple Lampa, Vivek Sudhakaran, Nidin Meghnathan, T.R. Sudeep is in police custody. South police took them to the bar in Ernakulam and took evidence. It was in this bar that the girl who was molested came with Dimple. The accused took the girl unconscious due to drinking in the car saying that they would take her to her residence in Kakanatulla.
According to the police, there is a need to collect evidence in Kadavantra, Palarivattam and Vaytila. The court has granted five days of custody for questioning and taking evidence. The police also stated that there are other cases pending against the natives of Kodungallur involved in the case.
The police are also investigating the relationship with drug dealers. Evidence was taken at the bar last day. Areas including the parking lot adjacent to the bar will be inspected on Wednesday. Evidence may also be collected on the roads traveled by the vehicle with the model. The police have found that there is a definite conspiracy behind the incident.
