The next delivery of weapons from the UK to Ukraine, bypassing the airspace over Germany, will be a “humiliation” for Berlin. This was stated on Friday, January 21, by the head of political programs of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, Yuriy Romanenko.
“If there are new deliveries from Britain, and Germany will fly around again, this is a frank humiliation for Berlin,” he writes in the Glavred newspaper.
According to the political scientist, the British did not forbid the British to fly through the country in Germany.
“They and the Russians were specifically shown that there is a solution, and they will not do anything about it. And that everything needed will be transferred very quickly by this route, ”added Romanenko.

As the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted, sending British weapons to Ukraine does not contribute to reducing tensions.
Germany itself is among the countries that do not support arms exports to Ukraine. According to Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Berlin is working “very actively” to achieve a de-escalation of the situation around Ukraine, this can be achieved by reducing the number of Russian armed equipment along the border with Ukraine.
