The day after a bloody attack by jihadists which left twelve dead according to the latest counts, and more than a dozen missing, the inhabitants of Kaobagou, where the attack took place, fled to take refuge in Kérou center , in Ouassa Péhunco and even in Banikoara. Men, women and children flee on the roads of Kérou to escape the atrocities committed by the terrorists.
According to a resident of Kérou whom we interviewed, calm has not yet returned to the populations. Many abandon their homes, their goods in the markets and leave without really knowing where to take refuge. For the moment, military reinforcements have already arrived this morning in the town. These reinforcements, it is hoped on the spot, could dissuade the terrorists from returning to sow desolation again in the region.
