The Port of Barcelona receives the ISO 45001 certificate in occupational health

The Port Authority of Barcelona (Spain) has received the ISO 45001 certificate, which guarantees its occupational health and safety management system. Through this recognition, the Catalan venue reaffirms its commitment to improve the quality of its services.

And it is that, the ISO 45001 facilitates the identification of risks, planning the preventive activity and controlled and improved the elements of the system that help to improve the working conditions.

The certified management system includes both the people who are part of the Port Authority and those who work in the companies contracted to carry out common works and services in the enclave.

ISO 45001, created in 2018, determines the necessary requirements for the occupational health and safety sectors that are higher than those established by law, at the same time that it determines a management system that enables the continuous improvement of the working conditions of workers and reinforces the detection of potential risks.
