MISS PICARDIE 2023. Aged 23, Charlotte Cresson was elected Miss Picardie on Sunday October 15, 2023. But who is she?
This Sunday, October 15, 14 young women participated in the Miss Picardie election at the Elispace in Beauvais. After several hours of parades, the name of the winner was revealed: Charlotte Cresson is now a candidate for the election Miss France 2024, which will be held on December 16 in Dijon.
Originally from Nesle, in the Somme, Charlotte Cresson is 23 years old. The new Miss Picardie crowned by Indira Ampiot has a degree in optometry and contactology. She works as an optician in Nesle. Alongside her professional life, the young woman enjoys her passion for horse riding but also special time with her loved ones.
We will soon see the representative of Picardy again during the preparation trip to Guyana, before the evening of the national election.

Miss Picardie is a competition which elects a candidate for Miss France each year. Several young women presented themselves in the hope of becoming the ambassador of Oise, Somme and Aisne. Since its creation, four Miss Picardie have been elected Miss France: Lyne Lassalle in 1936, Sylviane Carpentier in 1953, Elodie Gossuin in 2001 and Rachel Legrain-Trapani in 2007.

Bérénice Legendre : in 2022, Bérénice Legendre, then aged 25, wore the sash of Miss Picardie during the Miss France 2023 election. She was ranked 9th in the general ranking.
Hayate El Gharmaoui: In 2021, it was the young Hayate El Gharmaoui – then aged 21 – who represented the Picardy region in the Miss France competition. Although she was not ranked in the Top 15, the candidate still won the elegance prize.
Tara de Mets: At the end of 2020, it was Tara de Mets who represented Picardy during the Miss France election. Then aged 21, the young woman from Clermont in the Oise was following a medical course, in her fourth year of training in Amiens. Although Tara from Mets did not have the opportunity to enter the Top 15 this year, she still received the good manners award.
Morgane Fradon: Elected in Beauvais on October 27, 2019, Morgane Fradon was the representative of Picardy at Miss France 2020. This 20-year-old young woman was a student in Applied Foreign Languages at the University of Tours. In the national election in December 2019, she placed ninth.
Assia Karim: In 2018, Assia Kerim represented Picardy in the Miss France 2019 competition. Aged 22, the young woman wanted to move towards a career as an urban planner in order to contribute to regional planning. She failed to place at Miss France 2019.
