Portugal beat Serbia 4-2 in the first leg of the European Futsal Championship in the Netherlands. The meeting took place within the framework of group “A”, where the hosts of the competition and the Ukrainians also act.
The Portuguese are considered one of the main favorites for the tournament, in which they will have to defend the title won in 2018. In the debut meeting of the Euro “red-greens” had to show character: they were inferior during the match 0:2, but managed not only to recoup, but also to win.
The second match of this group also took place in a stubborn struggle. Ukraine opened the scoring in the confrontation with the Netherlands, but the hosts took their toll – 3:2.
And today the first match at the Euro will be held by Russia: our team will have Slovakia as rivals (beginning at 19.30 Moscow time). After this meeting, Sergei Skorovich’s wards will also meet with Croatia (January 25) and Poland (January 29).
