For Cecilia Vzquez, candidate of PP to the mayor of Betanzos, the Concello suffers from industrial development, an issue that is linked to the lack of land. He points out, however, the good communications that it has to be attractive and has proposed to the Xunta that value the creation of a logistic park in Vixe, close to the polygon of Piadela and where he considers that there are several plots that will allow him to create it. His project, to be executed in two phases, is to have an area of 548,000 square meters, which are currently in private hands, the main owner being the Etchevarra family. It is land classified as rustic, that one part had a forestry that has been cut down, exposing a building in ruins, and on the other, an apple plantation. He acknowledges that, for the moment, they have only raised their proposal to the Xunta, to make it public land and develop it through Xestur. She points out that Minister Ángeles Vázquez promised to study the project.
