The Prado rearranges its deposit policy, but will not open sub-headquarters or ‘mini-Prados’

Under the new name of ‘The Extended Prado’, it will strengthen between 50 and 70 museums throughout Spain with its collections

Currently, the art gallery exhibits between 1,600 and 1,700 works in its rooms. There are about 3,000 in warehouses and 3,446 deposited in 279 institutions
