The preliminary registration of Hajj pilgrims should be completed by October 23. The Hajj Division of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a special notification in this regard.
According to the issued notification, according to the roadmap announced by the Saudi government, the process of setting up tents and signing contracts with service companies in Mina and Arafa will begin on October 23. Allotment of tents is on first-come-first-served basis. Because of this, if the pilgrims’ registration is not completed by October 23, the tent allocation will not be available in the desired zone in Mina and Arafa. If there is a delay in accepting the tent and signing the contract with the service company, the pilgrims will have to stay in the mountainous area or New Mina area, far away from Jamarah. As a result, Hajj pilgrims will have to walk long distances in Saudi Arabia in hot sun and heat, which will be difficult for Hajj pilgrims.
For that reason, for the sake of smooth Hajj management, the Ministry of Religion has requested the people who want to go for Hajj to complete the preliminary registration by depositing three lakh taka in the bank by October 23.
