The President appointed Varanauskiene and Šaučiūniene to the LB board

The President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, in accordance with the Constitution, the law of the Bank of Lithuania and taking into account the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania Gediminas Šimkaus, signed the decrees appointing Julita Varanauskienė as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and Jurgita Šaučiūnienė as a member of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, the press release of the presidency reads.
