The President instructed to remove the akim of the region and the plenipotentiary representative of the region from their posts

President Sadyr Zhaparov instructed to dismiss the akim of the Sokuluk region Kurbanbek Aitibaev and the plenipotentiary of the Chui region Nuril Alymbaev for insufficient work on the implementation of the land amnesty. This was announced on March 6 by the presidential press service.

According to them, the heads of local authorities were instructed to promptly issue documents to people for their land plots. But Alymbekov and Aitibaev did not take enough measures to fulfill the president’s order. So, for the year in the Sokuluk region, only 341 red books were issued.

In addition, Zhaparov instructed to check the progress of the land amnesty in other regions, as well as to exclude the 27th paragraph from the Cabinet of Ministers resolution of May 31, 2022. This paragraph states that the red book for the site can only be obtained with the permission of the land owners, which complicates the legalization process.

On March 3, in a new building in Ak-Ordo, neighbors demolished the house of Maral Shabolotova, where she lived with her husband and four minor children. Shabolotova said that since 2018 she had been suing her neighbors for this land plot, but in October 2022 the Supreme Court sided with the neighbors and they decided to demolish her house.

The woman turned to the people of Kyrgyzstan for help, as this house was her only home. Caring citizens set up a yurt for temporary residence near the ruins of her house.

On March 5, Zhaparov himself visited Ak-Ordo and promised the injured woman to look into the situation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
