President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais Khazali, stressed the importance of supporting the judicial institution and ensuring the separation of powers.
The media office of the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad, the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, and the meeting discussed the latest developments in the political situation and events in Iraq, where the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening national unity and the solidarity of all political forces to confront current challenges, in addition to working to achieve stability and security in the country, and the importance of supporting the judicial institution, and ensuring the separation of powers.”
Sheikh Al-Khazaali praised the “role played by the President of the Republic in directing the political process towards strengthening national consensus,” noting the “necessity of continuing dialogue between all parties to achieve the country’s supreme interest.”
For his part, President Abdul Latif Rashid praised Sheikh Al-Amin’s efforts and his role in supporting national issues, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to build a better future for Iraq.
