Today (Tuesday) the President of the country participated in an event marking two years of the Abraham Accords of The Atlantic Council, during which the President had a one-on-one conversation with the former United States Ambassador Dan Shapiro. At the beginning of the conversation, the president of the country presented intelligence information stating that UAVs produced by Iran were used against civilians in the war in Ukraine.

The president began by saying: “Innocent citizens in Ukraine are being killed, injured and suffering from Iranian weapons. Iran has vehemently denied that it provided UAVs for the war against Ukraine. But Iran continues to provide these UAVs and they attack all over Ukraine. Special UAVs designed to cause widespread destruction big.”

The president talked about his vision for a renewed Middle East that would serve as a regional alliance to fight the climate crisis: “It may take another whole generation to reach a Middle East agreement, but we are not far from it on many issues. Take for example the issue of climate. In my opinion, if you look a little ahead, the space will provide energy to Europe, Africa and Asia in the future. This is what I call the renewed Middle East. Today there is an agreement between Israel and Greece on energy connectors, which will one day provide electricity from solar energy from our region to Europe. So you can foresee huge ideas, big ideas, and the leaders in the region are very interested, and they are looking for technological solutions in Israel.”

Later in the conversation, the President noted Israel’s growing integration in the Middle East: “The paradigm shift in the Abrahamic Accords also led to a psychological paradigm shift: more and more Israelis and Arab neighbors throughout the region talk to each other. Of course, in my eyes, the dialogue between the Muslim and the Jew, no matter where it takes place, He is always blessed and important. And I see it myself. I saw it with my own eyes during my state visit to the United Arab Emirates when “Hope” was played in the royal palace. I intend to also visit Bahrain towards the end of the year. The joint projects and ideas that arose from those alliances are amazing.”
