The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidane, arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan today, Wednesday, at the head of a high-level judicial delegation.
The Supreme Judiciary said in a statement received by the (INA): “The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidane, arrived today in the Republic of Azerbaijan at the head of a high-level judicial delegation, based on an invitation extended by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov,” indicating that “the visit aims to exchange and study the positive experience in the judicial and legal system between the two countries.”
He stressed that “the visiting delegation included the Chief Public Prosecutor, the Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, the Heads of the Courts of Appeal (Baghdad Karkh and Rusafa – Diyala – Anbar – Dhi Qar – Nineveh – Maysan) and the two Deputy Heads of the Karkh Court of Appeal,” noting that “the Deputy Chief Justice, Chingiz Agzarov, the Head of the International Cooperation and Public Relations Department, Mirtagi Gandilov, and the Chargé d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Baku, Mekki Risan Al-Maamouri, were at the reception of the delegation.”
